Last year, we were blessed to take a group of 15 girls on a memorable 10-day educational and spiritual journey to Turkey, and it turned out to be an experience none of us will ever forget. The trip was carefully planned to balance Islamic learning, cultural exploration, personal growth, and pure enjoyment, all in a safe, supervised, and nurturing environment.Throughout the visit, the girls were immersed in Islamic teachings in a way that felt alive and meaningful, not just classroom-based. They attended daily sessions that focused on faith, character, identity, sisterhood, and confidence, often inspired by the very places we visited. Learning about Islamic history while standing in cities that once served as centers of the Ummah made the lessons deeply impactful and easy to connect with.Turkey itself played a huge role in the experience. The girls explored historic mosques, Islamic landmarks, and culturally rich neighborhoods, gaining a real appreciation for Muslim heritage and history. From walking through breathtaking masjids to learning about the lives of scholars and leaders of the past, every day offered something new and inspiring.At the same time, the trip was filled with fun, laughter, and bonding. There were sightseeing days, group activities, shared meals, shopping trips, and plenty of moments where friendships truly flourished. The girls built strong bonds with one another, forming a sense of sisterhood that many parents told us continued even after returning home.Parents consistently shared how positively the trip impacted their daughters—increased confidence, stronger connection to Islam, greater independence, and beautiful memories that they still talk about today. Safety, supervision, and well-being were our top priorities at all times, giving parents peace of mind while allowing the girls to fully enjoy the experience.This Turkey visit was more than just a trip—it was a transformational journey combining deen, culture, and joy.
